Cairo Dye, Community Engagement Manager, is a proud member of the CAC adult learning team and she focuses on collaborations with cultural, academic and artistic partners and arts and culture organizations across Chicago. With a background in technical theater and history, she is always excited to explore how history, sociology, and cultural narratives interact with the built environment, and her favorite thing to work on at CAC is Open House Chicago. She is also a film enthusiast in her free time, and her favorite place in the city is the Music Box Theater.
